Dance, Dance, Dance...
On Friday the 18th of March we had a fundraising day, to raise money for the Christchurch Earthquake victims. As part of the days fundraising events we had a mufti day, a sausage sizzle and a lunchtime disco. We all had a great day, everyone got in behind the cause and we managed to raise $517. What a great outcome.
Room 1a wish to send all our love and support to the people of Christchurch, many of us have family and friends that have been affected.

Reefton Area School Athletic Sports 2011
"On your marks get set.....GO!!!
We had a great day at our athletic sports this year, but some of us were a bit sore the next day. There were the traditional events such as; running races, high jump, long jump, shot-put, discuss and javelin. We also had new wacky fun events such as; a water slide, running across the swimming pool, an obstacle course, sack races and three legged races. Our favourite events were the water slide, running across the pool. shot-put, long jump and running. It was a great day, we were all very tired but are looking forward to next years athletics.
